This Privacy Policy explains how Robopioneer Inc. ("Robopioneer", "we", "us"), a company based in Toronto, ON, Canada, collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the Talkwise application and related services (collectively, "Talkwise"). We ask you to read it carefully before using Talkwise.

By accessing or using Talkwise, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, you should not use Talkwise.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information (verified Gmail address and Firebase/Google authentication identifier)
  • Credit, subscription, and billing entitlement information associated with your account
  • Limited security and service-usage events needed to operate and protect TalkWise

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Keep credits and Premium access aligned across web and mobile
  • Process the conversation context you submit to generate a response
  • Protect the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations

Chat History and Retention

Your conversation history and personalization profile are stored locally in the browser or app data on your device, under your Firebase user ID. TalkWise does not create a server-side conversation-history or personality-profile archive. Local conversations are automatically removed after 30 days, and storage is also size-bounded.

When you request coaching, conversation messages and relevant personality context are transmitted securely for that request to TalkWise and its AI processor so a response can be generated. That transient processing does not make the content part of your server-side account profile. We do not use conversation content to build advertising profiles.

Data Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Authentication is handled through trusted Google via Firebase. TalkWise accepts verified personal @gmail.com accounts only and never receives or stores your Google password.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights and safety

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access or correct your server-side account information
  • Clear local personalization and conversations from Settings
  • Request deletion of your TalkWise account
  • Opt-out of marketing communications

Clearing local data affects only the current browser or device; other devices keep their own local copies until cleared there or automatically purged. Account deletion removes the TalkWise account and clears the current browser. Stripe, Google Play, billing, security, or legal records may be retained where required.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
